Early History:
As a business that started small, in Apple Valley, California,
when there wasn't a very big demand for computers, let alone GNU/Linux. InaTux started by
convincing people to switch to GNU/Linux at county fairs and in small businesses. Though at the time
GNU/Linux was this software they never heard of and didn't have any interest in using, until they
heard it was entirely free, and that we could provide them with any number of computers with any
version of GNU/Linux, for a reasonable price, compared to the computers they were considering.
And would do more than everything their existing computers were capable of.
For a first-time GNU/Linux user, things can be very confusing, and companies like IBM, Asus, Dell, etc.,
don't make the first GNU/Linux experience any easier, we do. Because we here at InaTux believe that GNU/Linux
has the potential to be easier, reliable, advanced, compatible, faster, and fun!

Brief Introduction to GNU/Linux:
GNU/Linux is the name given to any Unix-like computer operating
system that uses software from the GNU Project
and the Linux kernel.
GNU/Linux is one of the most prominent examples of free software, or open source software, freedom;
all underlying source code can be freely modified, used, and redistributed by anyone, when licensed
under the GNU GPL.
A GNU/Linux system's utilities and libraries usually come from the GNU operating system, announced in 1983 by
Richard Stallman.
And the name Linux comes from the Linux kernel, created by
Linus Torvalds.
Predominantly known for its use in servers, GNU/Linux is supported by corporations
such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Novell, Oracle Corporation, Red Hat, and Sun
Microsystems. It can be used as an operating system for a wide variety of computer
hardware, including desktop computers, supercomputers, E-book readers, video
game systems such as the PlayStation 2 and 3, Nintendo GameCube and Wii, several
arcade games, and embedded devices such as mobile phones and routers.
